February Week 1: INTEGRITY
"Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching." – Anonymous
At Canadian Black Belt Academy Tottenham, we teach our students that integrity is a core part of being a martial artist. It’s about doing what is right—even when it’s difficult, and even when no one is there to see it.
A Karate student with integrity always follows through on their commitments. They train with effort, respect their teachers, and stay true to their values. When faced with a tough choice, they rely on their inner sense of right and wrong instead of outside pressures.
Integrity also means being honest. If you make a mistake, you own up to it. If you set a goal, you work hard to reach it. These small actions shape us into strong, dependable individuals.
Ask yourself:
Being a martial artist means more than just learning techniques—it means building the kind of character that sets you up for success in life. Keep training with integrity!
